Photographer’s Note
Last weekend, walking by the shore of lake Krampnitz
north of Potsdam, I found another little miracle:
the thin ice sheet on the lake had been shattered and pushed onto the shore the way you can see here.
There were beautiful crackling noises and the light reflections would change constantly...
God's museum open air!
In the WS there is a different POV to understand this image better!

Hello René,
What an astonishing scene! Rather than ice sheet, it looks like plate glass of uniform thickness, shattered and stacked. Indeed it is an exhibition from an open air museum. Good eye, well exposed.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hi Rene,
Amazing scene! A well designed natural museum. It looks like a plate of glass indeed. I like the light that makes it look like beautiful crystals.
Thanks for sharing.

Very interesting phenomenon Rene, and well seen and photographed by you. I really like the textures produced by these thousands of shards of ice, piling up. Colour is very good. I imagine the light could be a little difficult for you on this one too. Very well managed shot.
Thanks, John

Ciao!!
Livia
