The Berlin Central Station building, located on the site of the historic Lehrter Bahnhof, is the largest and most modern crossing two-level railway station in Europe. It was opened in May, 2006.
The building effectively combines striking architecture with the mobility requirements of the 21st century. Every day, some 1100 long-distance, regional and rapid transit trains call at the 14 platforms on two different levels.

Great wideangleshot, taken from an excellent POV.I like the long curve of the river and the row of 4 boats. The woman walking at the left side is a fine detail and good for the balance.

You've captured the curved river perfectly ... very appealing visually. The boat going towards the viewer adds a fantastic dynamism to the photo. Well composed with very good image quality. Well done! tfs

Trиs belle vue de ce bвteau de plaisance, avec un mangigique bвtiment moderne en fond, la courbe du gros tuyeau, se marie parfaitement avec la courbe du qui, superbe.

According to your note a busy train station but as we can see it's equally busy on the waterways, which is good for your photo because the succeeding boats give it good depth, good PoV to have the curve lead to the building. This station must have great potential at night, did you try as well ?
Have a nice day JY

Un bon POV sur le fleuve et sur la gare, le soleil n'йtait pas au rendez-vous, mais ces teintes douces et toutes ces courbes font une photo trиs graphique.
Du bon travail!!

long time since our last contact (despite your visit lately). Good to see that you are back. The dynamic curves in that composition of bows make it deep. large and interesting. The fine row of ships with the railway station in the background is well captured and the light and clarity are astonishing in that weather conditions. Great sharpness and superb POV.

You used the River Spree very well as a lead-in to the wonderful modern railway station in the background. The architecture looks very nice! I like the four boats in the foreground also a lot. Very good and well composed picture, thanks for sharing!

Good lines and sharp fine details!
I like the point of view, and the railway station is of course the eye-catcher...
Well composed presentation with good placement of the boat in front!

Through this picture I am seeing for the first time the central station. I was working in kassel and I have decided for no visiting Berlin!... However I was pretty convinced of that. Meanwhile such pictures will give me a fully perspective. The sight-seeing cruises will be a compulsory good option. For how long did you visit the town? Warm regards. Domingos
