Photographer’s Note

This is another capture from the memorial to the murdered Jews of Europe. Also known as the "Holocaust Memorial".It is been built on a 19,000 square meter (4.7 acre) site covered with 2,711 concrete slabs or "stelae", arranged in a grid pattern on a sloping field.

Bu kare de daha evvel gönderdiğim Berlin'in göbeğinde yer alan Holocaust anıtından bir başka görüntü. Burada görülen çeşitli yüksekliklerdeki 2,711 beton blok, Avrupanın göbeğinde işlenmiş en büyük insanlık suçunun, Holocaust'un anısına yapılmış bir anıt.
19 dönümlük bir alana yayılan bu anıt, genç, ihtiyar; çoluk, çocuk bakmadan öldürülen milyonlarca yahudi'nin anısına Berlin'in en merkezi bir yerine yapılmış.

Bonjour Mesut, tu as bien saisi la seule couleur dans cet endroit, et c est tres bien, fait, fort contrast et une note de gaiete non interessante.

I like this POV and the cromathic juxtaposition between the "live" coloured person and the dead grey coloumns.

I also visited this monument and found the atmosphere extremly choking as for my picture 1 and
picture 2

Great place to take photos, it seems .... I like the body language, the hooded face looks a bit bent like acknowledging what this monument represents, while the colours are stricking - very interesting !
