Photographer’s Note

A part of the East Gallery in 1998, as prehistorical paintings, hands everywhere to say "I was there", demolish the wall. But now it's a historical proof and a small part is still erected to show to the tourists how it was between 1961 and 1989.

Hello Claude,
a splendid effect with the painted hands on the wall and the true hand on the left, great idea indeed.
I like the graphical effect due to the texture of the wall, but there's also a great symbolic meaning in you shot. Congratulations, TFS.

L'idée est bonne, avec la main qui s'insère dans l'image avec un réalisme troublant. La texture et le grain suggèrent bien un monde révolu et je trouve vraiment judicieux le cadrage avec l'empreinte rouge au centre, qui en dit long. Une belle façon de célébrer les 20 ans de la chute du mur avec cette vingtaine d'empreintes. Bravo.

Quite timely shot. Those hands have strong symbolism, good that you have included a real one there.

Bonjour Claude,

Sympa de suivre ta serie sur le mur de Berlin. Celle ci a un bel aspect graphique avec les ecailles de peintures et les couleurs.
Bonne idée la presence du bras qui donne une suggestion d action et de mouvement et replace la photo dans une action.

Une image évidemment chargée de symboles. Cette main teintée de rouge a un fort impact (un peu dommage, la montre qui dérange un peu le regard)

Une belle série pour la commémoration de la destruction du mur de Berlin.
Comme dans toutes le villes je vois que les artistes de rue utilisent le ruines pour présenter leur oeuvres.
