Photographer’s Note

Charlottenburg Palace (German: Schloss Charlottenburg) is the largest palace in Berlin[1] and the only building in the city dating back to the time of the Hohenzollern family.[2] It is located in the Charlottenburg district of the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf area.

The palace was built at the end of the 17th century and was greatly expanded during the 18th century. It includes much exotic internal decoration in baroque and rococo styles. A large formal garden surrounded by woodland was constructed behind the palace. In the grounds of the palace various buildings were erected, including a belvedere, a mausoleum, a theatre and a pavilion. During the Second World War the palace was badly damaged but has since been reconstructed. The palace, its gardens and the buildings in the grounds are major visitor attractions.

cambiato totalmente tema, chi ti porta a Berlino...!
Sicuramente tornerai con un bottino di tutto rispetto, viste le premesse, il primo piano della pavimentazione farà impazzire Roberto, che tiene tanto alle linee.Gran bella foto.

Molto bella, luminosa e nitida questa foto, ricca di dettagli e con splendidi colori. Mi piace molto la linea della pavimentazione che accompagna lo sguardo fino alla splendida facciata.

So you have been in Berlin some days ago! You show Schloss Charlottenburg from a "normal" frontal point of view - but the chosen composition really is attractive and inventive. Including this pavement creates a very special effct.
A truly inviting photo in a very good quality.

The vertical frame was an excellent option, well justified by the narrow pattern on the ground leading the eye to the beautiful palace. Otherwise, the light and colours are superb too and the people add action and scale to the square. Well done.

Avrei personalmente raddrizzato la sagoma della costruzione con la bella cupola. Inquadratura verticale con buona profondità e asimmetrie "studiate".

bellissima idea per questa foto, la pavimentazione colorata aggiunge una gran bel fascino al Palazzo.
Pende un pochino a dx, come dice Giorgio sarà per le ultime votazioni... shhhh nn diciamo nulla.
Per la composizione ti devo dare la mano.
Colori eccellenti, i dettagli anche del pavimento sono notevoli e anche il taglio che gli hai dato è azzeccato!

Notevole composizione verticale...bella profondità Silvio, anche colore e sharp regolati da maestro...Ti sei fatto un bel giretto a Berlino è, a giudicare dagli abiti bello fresco poi...bene bene, è una città complessa che richiede tempo per visitarla. Mi è piaciuta molto anche Dresda, poi percorrere le città di confine con la Polonia sembra di tornare indietro nel tempo e vivere le fredde emozioni dell'ultima guerra...in molti casi.

Interesting and unusual angle. I like how you've incorporated the pattern on the ground into the shot. It really draws the viewer in. There apparently is a slight tilt though, perhaps that could have been corrected. Other than that a really fine picture.
