Todays “Locked forever” is an oldie. From 1969. Scanned from a Kodachrome Diapositive.
On this capture, you see windows of an house along the wall. Those are been bricked from the inside, in order to avoid the east Berliner's to see what's going on in the western part of the city.
Those houses were still been used when I made this capture, but than demolished a few years later.

Ebediyen kapanmış pencere ve kapılara bugünkü örnek eski Doğu Berlinden. Bu kareyi 1969 da çekmişim ve bir diadan taradım.
Doğu Berlinde kalan evlerin, Batıya bakan pencerelerini, komunist yönetim tuğla ile örmüş. Doğuda yaşayanlar, Batıya bakıp orada nelerin olup bittiğini görmesinler diye.
Çoğu evde de perdeler, cam ile tuğla duvar arasından kalmış.

tarihin içinden müthiş bir kare, ifade gücü çok yüksek.. hatırlattıkları çok hoş olmasa da hiç unutulmaması gereken gerçek bir belge.. netlik ve kompozisyon mükemmel. değerli bir paylaşım, elinize sağlık, teşekkürler..

Lieber Mesut!
Dies ist für mich das traurigste Foto Deiner Serie. Diese beabsichtigte Endgültigkeit durch die zugemauerten Fenster mit ihrem eingeworfenen Scheiben hat etwas sehr Beklemmendes. Das Hinweisschild auf einen Hydranten ist hier DER Hingucker. Letztlich war dieser Wahnsinn Gott sei Dank doch nur eine kurze Episode in der Geschichte ...
Alles Gute aus dem hochsommerlichen Deutschland. 27°C heute!
