I felt Berlin was an eclectic city, with traditional buildings (such as yesterday's post) and modern architecture (such as today's post)
This is the famous roof of Postdamer Platz and the Sony centre.

I like this one very much because of the shapes and lines. Good composition. The roof of the Sony centre is always a thankful object.

Tu nous fait decouvrir une vue moderne de Berlin, un aspect de cette ville que je ne connais pas.
J aime bien le cadrage legerement excentré qui nous fait mieux ressentir la construction circulaire de ce toit.

En vignette, je croyais que c'était une version N&B des "ombres sarladaises" de Pascale : une vue sous un parasol de table...
Mais non, une architecture moderne, vertigineuse, dont tu as su tirer le meilleur parti pour une compo très graphique, et efficace.
Beau coup d'oeil, et parfaite réalisation. Bravo.

Un résultat graphique très intéressant. Je ne connais pas le bâtiment et je suis intrigué par sa structure...J'ai quand-même le sentiment que tu as su tirer parti de cette géométrie pour créer une image originale car décentrée. Intéressant aussi que tu n'aies pas utilisé le N&Bl... on en comprend d'autant mieux que ce n'est pas un endroit très coloré mais plutôt très Hi-Tec.

I had been at Sony Center one time and loved the geometrical angles which offers many cadrage to photographers, one is yours, original cadrage, very well done

I've been to Berlin 3 times now...standing under this "roof" (well when it is raining it is not really functional :) more than 3 times but never able to produce such a great photo of it. I love smart positioning inside the frame top left. Almost BW image due to night scenery is excellent choice and it enables this roof to appear as a wonderful graphism.

Great photograph of the Berlin Sony Center! I have a similar one made during daytime, but I prefer this one because of the better contrast and the attention paid to details. Because of the dark sky, the typical shape of the roof structure is stressed. I also like your POV.
