Photographer's Note
Berliner Dom during Festival of Lights, back side the TV tower.
First building on the place was built in 1469, it was Castle Chapel. In 1536 the chapel became church. In 1747 it was became the main church of the Prussian Dukes and it was the burial place of them. In 1817-1822 Johann Boumann renovated the church and built cupolas. In 1893-1905 Julius Raschdorff brought a style to the Dom we see nowadays. In WWII the Dom was destroyed and then rebuilt in 70-80ss. The Dom opened in 1993.

Hallo Biswarup!
Only one word: Incredible! These colours and patterns are overwhelming and the venerable building seems to be something quite different! Very interesting! Thank you for showing this!
Greetings from Siegen!

Biswarup, you have caught the scene well, with good exposure, sharpness and colour.
Possibly the tower to the right spoils the scene a little from the angle chosen but that's a minor point.
Well done.

Hi there,
That's a great one!! The Dom here looks much nicer than without these lights...they should keep them on! I love it!
Cheers, Léonie

Hi Biswarup,
Waouh that's an artistic lighting ! It seems always more european places are trying to compete in setting up always more creative and artistic lightings for our joy, these colors really shine in the night, love it, and I also notice another landmark in the background, the Fernsehturm am Alex, nice and clean picture.
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves
