Today, 27 January, is an International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

In the picture you see the Memorial situated in the center of Berlin at the very symbolic place. Near this place there was the Führerbunker. One of its entrances was just where two tall poplars are seen in the background.

Hello Sergiy,
This memorial is really unique. I had an opportunity to see it few months ago and the scenes of this place as well as the museum are still in my memory.
Well seen and executed post. People gave a life to the scene. Thanks for sharing.

I think the light is crucial here for perception of this scene.I´ve seen this Memorial few times by differnt light and depending on the light it looks quite different.I like your composition very much.It´s excellently considered and framed to present us significance and importance of this place and tragic and sad Holocaust time.Very good picture to commemorate this important and tragic anniversary.

Hello Sergiy,
this is a striking picture, you have composed it in a most effective way giving it impressive depth and perspective and framing the long structures of the monument with the tall ones of the bulidings at its border. The shadows make the view even more solemn and dramatic, your lighting is excellent. The presence of the people and of the brighter colours provide a sort of relief but also remind us how past and present are inextricably connencted. Congratulations and thank you!
