Photographer’s Note

Skyscraper near Sony Centre in Berlin. Original architecture from Potsdamer Platz in Berlin has been destroyed by WWII. During the 60s the Berlin Wall crossed right through Potsdamer Platz. After the Wall had fallen, the Platz was left again in great ruins.

During the 90s Potsdamer Platz was rebuild with modern architecture, of which Sony Centre is famous.

Rosalinde, good evening.
I love these sharp buildings, they make good pictures, I would like to have seen the whole building from the same point of view and then done in B&W.
Still a striking picture.
