Postcard from Berlin Photo

Photographer’s Note

So, a typical tourist-type souvenir photo and no enlightening note to go with it.

But that's okay, because I think this photo shows the atmosphere that I will always remember associating with Berlin (hence why it is my “postcard“): full of action, stormy, dramatic, slightly foreboing, ideological, rapidly changing, and beautiful but hasn't finished wiping the soot off its walls yet. I hope it doesn't finish wiping the soot away anytime soon- the memories are so much better when there's dirt and character to go with them.
