"Casino to night boys"
Fun effect of this ship leaving Port-La-Nouvelle as it seems to be right on for a visit to the Casino out there at the pier.

Port-La-Nouvelle is a central harbor to serve this region including Narbonne.

A fine weekend to all of you ;-)

(PS! It is a real Casino not the Supermarket)

Hello Jack,

A very interesting picture, good subject with the Casino in background.
Nice image with the boat to the left, in the low sun.
Also the dark blue colour of the sky, colours and sharpness are superb
This gives nice depth and good perspective.
Composition and presentation are very well, TFS.

Hi Jack,
great compo : the ship leaving to fish and the casino on the background... I know this place (I live not too far) and I like it because it's different of the other seaside resorts of the coast : you have here both touristic, industrial (the cement works) and port activities. La Nouvelle isn't just a touristic place and that makes it's charm.
Moreover, you had a great light for your photo.

Hello Jack,

Fabulous juxtaposition of the trawler, it appears, and the casino on the horizon. The low vantage point is very effective in presenting the scene. The dynamic view, the colors and resolution are all very good.

I spent holidays three times in Port la Nouvelle, I prefer Gruissan because I am closer to the sea.
Nice picture with interesting lights.
The sea seems rough.

I think 90% of the pleasurable effect of this picture is due to the fine sunlight that lits this rusty but colourful ship.
A good capture, with the ship just in the right position to fill most of the photogram and to point to the casino.
Apart form that is a good document of this place too.
