Photographer’s Note
Inside Notre Dame des Anges
We are in the deep South of France, village Collioure, in the church Notre-Dame-des-Anges AND of course we could not only have the photo of the choir training in a small corner of the church - we just had to make another little try with the new video facility at the camera.
Even if we forgot to manually set the focus (which you have to do)- we find it still fun. Take a look if you have 26 seconds available >>

Hello Jack,
South of france, but it could have been in the countryside in Flanders too.
I love pictures and music equally, often crossing over between the two, so what I particularly like about the video-link is that it adds the sound to this vision. Risky, because if I don't like the music, it might have a negative influence on my perception of the image. But, rest assured, no such thing happened here. Thanks for this great package!

Hi Jack
I did not remark that you have a new camera with vidéo, that's great. Don't forget it in the car this time :)
For your picture it's well managed for the lights
I return to sleep.

Hello Jack,
You have graduated to the D90 I see, with what I hear is a most sought after lens. The effect you've achieved in this image is first rate. The baroque church, the worshipers deeply engrossed, perfect handling of light and shadows, colors and resolution. Initially, I wondered how it would be to have a square frame — keeping the composition of the width the same, but showing more of the wall and the hanging paintings, presumably the witnessing saints.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hi Jack, friend,
the kind of photo I like very much: activities in an atmosphere. With your Nikon you realize good quality of images - nice colors in the nice light, from optimal point of view. Thanks for showing details in the background.
