The Statue
In the park of The "Auberge des Vaux de Cernay", where is located the vestiges of the old Abbey, several statues in bronze with a very modern style were installed .
Contrast between these statues and the buildings give a very nice mood and bring much charm to the relaxation and the walk.

Nice composition Jean with the architecture forming a lovely looking and nicely placed background while the sharpness of the rest of it is nice.

Ils sont superbes ces bâtiments en arrière-plan de la statue. Ils sont bien mis en évidence avec une bonne luminosité. J'avoue que je suis plus attirée par l'architecture de l'abbaye.

Bonjour Jean-Luc

A chaque fois que je découvre une de tes images de Cernay, je me dis qu'il faudrait que j'aille visiter cet endroit !
Le bâtiment a l'air vraiment superbe, avec ses belles pierres et les lierres envahissant les murs, et le parc semble bien agréable également.
Bonne idée l'inclusion de cette statue, c'est une proposition originale. Un mélange de styles osé ;o)
La belle lumière sert magnifiquement ton image, beau travail.

what a lovely shot! The light and contrast is perfect, the colors are wonderfully clear and bright and just marvelous detail. You composed it so very well with the statue in the FG, too. What I especially like, though, is the blue trim on the doors and windows that contrasts so nicely against the warm colored stone of the building. Ever so nicely done! A modern statue middle of a wonderful old area.
Quiet and soft and fine image.
These colours are marvelous and the pov and depth excellents.
Nice perspective through the excellent choice of your angle.
Anyway, it's an interesting photo of this traditional practice and your note is fascinating, too. TFS.

Ce qui m'attire le plus dans cette image, ce sont ces beaux bâtiments bien illuminés par la lumière révélant ainsi les détails architecturaux. Je n'arrive pas à bien voir ce que représente la statue, peut être à cause des ombres... un bon rendu des couleurs également!

tu as trouvé une interessante statue dans ce parc. mais la batisse derrière est aussi imposante et pleine d'élégance.

Beaucoup de sensualité dans les formes de cette statue qui finalement s'intègre bien dans cet environnement d'un autre âge. La lumière est une fois de plus superbe et font bien ressortir les couleurs naturelles du paysage. Bel équilibre dans le cadrage. Joli et intéressant coup d'oeil, merci Jean-Luc.

J'aime bien ce parc où il fait bon se balader
Quant à l'hôtel, la nuit n'est pas donnée; la statue est en opposition avec le cadre, je ne suis pas très art moderne.
