Photographer’s Note
Repost: the first version of this photo seemed too "tweaked" in terms of lighting and contrast. I tried to turn around the bright counterlight which sort of shaded the boats in the foreground, but obviously that didn't work out. Therefore, I decided to repost a more original version of this photo.
The picturesque port of Collioure at the end of the summer, with the beautiful fortress guarding the bay as it has been doing for centuries. We visited Collioure for 2 days during a combination trip to Carcassonne, Andorra, Collioure. I'll post more photos from each location in the upcoming days.

Hello Gerd,
colour-wise, the final version definitely looks better than the original. That one looked too "flat", and this one has certain depth. I like the picturesque perspective view! Good composition.
best regards,
Elena

Belo cenário registrado nesta foto, que possui muito boa definição e contraste. as cores do trabalho, possivelmente trabalhdas em programa de edição, estão muito boas e naturais. trabalho competente.

Where are these boats going? It reminds me a bit the scenery close to the castle in the town of Corfu. I like th framing and the coloring although the light was not that helpful to you! Thank you for sharing! Regards Stella
