Photographer’s Note
Here’s the third in series of photos from my recent trip to Alsace. Sadly, evening was nearing and it was time to head home after a glorious golden weekend. Leaving Ribeauvillé we took a detour along the narrow lanes between the vines and this is the view we enjoyed. The orange tree towards the horizon on the left hand side is this tree which I had tried to get a better view of on the horizon but never quite seemed to find the right pov.

Hi Susanna,
a wonderful one! The landscape looks great and these vineyards in the foreground help to create a good depth. Sharpness and colors are very nice and the landscape looks great, I would for sure like to photograph that myself!

J'aime beaucoup ce patchwork doré de vigne qui donne a ta photo une dimension humaine sympathique. La lumière est superbe à cette heure ou on voudrait que le temps s'arrete.

Ah, wonderful landscape and light you found here. The vineyard fields look great bathing in sunlight and spreading out all their rich colours. Strong lines in the landscape which makes it very pleasant to look at.

The nearing of evening also gave you excellent light, bathing in gold a scene which was golden already. The vinyards provide wonderful patterns on the hillside, relieved by the inclusion of the village, which is nestled in beautifully. Your low POV to include the foreground vines works well.

The last two days I had simillar views,but in pale yellow and a lot of grey....
When the sun is shining it`s such a pleasure walking in a landscape like this one.
Wonderful autumnal tones and a fine patchwork of vineyards here.Good composition with these long diagonals and the nice red roof.

Alors on pacourt la campagne alsacienne comme ca, attention de pas tomber sur une 406 bleue au detour d'un virage ;-)))
Elle est jolie ton image, tu as eu une tres belle luminosite qui chauffe les tons ors et on ressent pas trop la brume qu'il y a eu souvent cette annee. Faut qu'on se voit ces prochaines semaines pour se faire un Abschiedsessen...

Des couleurs comme celle-là, on en prendrait bien à la douzaine... :-P)
C'est franchement attrayant et hyper lumineux. Le point de vue est bien choisi et offre un patchwork qui rappelle une carte informatique... L'église qui s'insère discrètement entre les vignes offre elle aussi de jolis détails géométriques.
