Photographer’s Note

I was cycling through the vineyards on a sunny afternoon when I thought I heard a noise. I stopped to look and listen, but all was silent. I set off again when again… “piff!” came the noise, quite distinctly. But all was silent when I had stopped. As I looked up to see this strange apparition in the sky, I was convinced I heard again the sound “piff!”… Curious, that’s all I can say.

Hi Susanna!
This cloudformation is wonderful and you present it in a very creative way.Excellent composition with this wineyard at the bottom.Great low POV and amazing colorcontrast.

le cadrage au raz le sol est royal, quant à ce petit nuage qui répons au doux nom de virga , il pourrait entrer dans un bon livre de météorologie.

Great effect, your low pov works fantastic here where you found the cloud as an extra bonus above the vineyards.
Never seen such a cloud before, but it looks wonderful, very good eye in seeing and composing this.

non seulement ce petit nuage est surprenant, mais tu as aussi su très bien le mettre en valeur avec ce point de vue en contre-plongée sur des vignes. Tout ça fait une très belle image...ça fait très "envahisseurs";)

Great and originally POV, beautiful autumn colors in a great contrast with the sky. The cloud gives a extra point to the picture.

Rencontre du 3ème type au dessus des vignes !
Ce nuage colle tout à fait avec les lignes de plants de vignes au premier plan et accroche parfaitement l'observateur.

Intéressante formation de nuages, mais ce qui m'impressionne le plus c'est l'angle de vue au ras des vignes. Quant au 'piff", ne venait-il pas de ton vélo? Les couleurs sont superbes. Bonne semaine,

Bonjour Susanna, vu sous cet angle cela donne encore plus d’ampleur au vignoble, bref une vue terre à terre et même plus bas que terre qui accentue encore l’impression d’être immergé dans la vue, ce nuage qui semble frétillé (comme un serpent à sonnette, c’est peut-être ça le bruit que tu entendais) cela donne effectivement une grande impression de légèreté, peut être serait un bon présage pour la récolte futur, bien amicalement

Looks like a giant jellyfish in the sky .. remarkable cloud shape, and the POV with the vineyard makes this a very interesting image.

What an amazing cloud you found. The pixies must have been very busy trying hard to draw your attention to it. Getting down to the pixies' POV works out well and provides us with a very unusual look at the vineyards in their auutumn glory. Well spotted (or listened! ;D)

Lucky you being there with the vines a much prettier colour and with a funny cloud. The light and colours weren't as good 3 weeks earlier. I can imagine you lying in the grass to take this one. The angle is fantastic.

Génial c'est effet avec ces nuages très originaux, ton cadrage est très bien vu avec cet effet de contre plongée près des vignes qui de plus ont de très belles couleurs, bravo c'est excellent !

belle photo de ces vignes en contre plongées, ces nuages qui forment ce rond sont de toute beauté et bravo pour avoir su le capter, beaucoup d' attention était sans doute nécessaire pour saisir un moment pareil.

The low pov super for this work from the vineyards with the strange clouded formation up there. And what can it be? Of course it could be as simple as the condence stripes of a bypassing UFO - and the 'piffing' could be like: 'Hi Su take a look up here...'
Anyway a well made compo of the event. Have a fine day.. ;-)
