Photographer’s Note

During each week-end, at summer time, Versailles vibrates under the music of great classical compositors.

In the afternoon, the numerous fountains of its beautiful garden adds to the magic of the moment, above all if you are lucky enough to get some good light!!

On this photo, you see the first fountain of the garden, "le bassin de Latone".

Superbe cadrage dans cette ambiance monarchique très esthétique. On bronzerait bien au bord du bassin!

jolie la vue avec la fontaine dans un coin et le chateau certes un peu caché (tu aurais du te servie de ton escabelle) dans l'autre.

Bonsoir Marianne,

C'est vrai que tu as bénéficié d'une belle lumière ce jour-là, j'espère que ce WE je pourrais avoir de bons rayons également, mais moi, habitant à côté je préfère les matinales... moins de monde. De plaisantes couleurs naturelles. Joli coup d'oeil sur ce beau bassin.

Marianne,
When I was here the fountain was not even turn on. flower are still being planted, but it's was already a site to see. Imagine the way it was when you were there, it must be such a feast to the eyes. Love the well saturated colors and warm tone of the stutues. Well composed, I would only wish the top of the fountain is not too close to the cloud so the statue on the top and water standout better against just the blue sky. Lovely and beautiful regardless.

Luminosité, couleurs, cadrage...très bon tout ça! En plus, la foule semble raisonnable...moi qui n'ai jamais vu Versailles (la honte à mon grand âge!), c'est peut-être la bonne période pour la visite?

Jolie carte postale de ton expédition parisienne, si j'ose dire. Ces jardins sont en effet l'œuvre du génie de ses bâtisseurs. Ils ont fait de cet endroit un jardin parsemé de bassins et de jeux d'eau uniques.

Et bien moi non plus à mon âge, je n'ai jamais vu Versailles:-)
Une superbe fontaine dans un environnement qui nous replonge des siècles en arrière. Les costumes des courtisanes ont bien entendu changé mais en rêvant un peu, il est aisé de se replonger dans l'ambiance:-)
Très jolies couleurs et malgré la lumière forte tu t'en es très bien sortie.

en esta toma podemos apreciar la inmensidad de los jardines de Versailles, y su elegancia decorativa. La gente se ve muy pequeña y nos da una buena escala.
La buena gestión de la fuerte luz, y un nivel cromático muy natural y agradable, hacen una composición bonita y bien realizada.
