From Collioure to the North Atlantic
This photo from the small village Collioure in South of France as the day ends a fine day in August.
Quite a contrast to my next planned destination:
Adventure in the North Atantic – Faroe Islands
I am planning a long weekendtrip to the islands of Faroe Islands in the Atlantic in the end of the month. (www.faroeislands.com)
A tour outside the tourist season with a big chance for bad weather, rain and storm in the ocean and on these adventure islands. A splendid photo opportunity.

Je ne sais pas si j'apprécie vraiment la plante qui apparaît dans l'avant plan. Elle est trop sombre est n'apporte rien à la compo. Sinon, les couleurs que fournissent ce petit N95 sont étonnantes !

Nice shot of Collioure, Jack. The colors in the sky are almost pastel, soft as they are. We used to have a residential caravan near Argelès years ago, and Aline spent a lot of time there with the children. I would verry much like to join you on your trip late september but I am afraid this will be impossible. In the first place becaus Aline undergoes a operation on her foot around the 25th, so have to be here to do the necessary shopping and other things (like walking the dog), and in the second place...I am afraid I might be a bit to old for this kind of excercise.
Anyway, I wish you all the luck and happy shooting. Bring back some nice pictures for us to look at.

Hi Jack,
Beautiful pink sunset light. I like the composition where boat pier makes a curve, and that palmtree branch on the right has about the same angle. Lots of details. Reflections look good too.

Nice colours at this end of day. The veils makes a good effect with geometrical surface and special colours.

Hello Jack,
Faroe Island will be a far cry from Southern France, but I look forward to seeing some images from there as well. The image of Collioure at sunset will be on my mind when I see the images you post from Faroe. In the next day or two we will be entering fall. In the northern hinterland it is going to be a rough few months.
