I was at the very same place less than a month ago, thought the view had an interesting potential but could not find an attracting angle.
Viewing your BW pic, it's now obvious for me. i think you framed too wide to focus completely on the play of diagonal roof lines, vertical buildings and rectangular windows.

I cannot show you as you didn't allow WS but my idea would be to drastically frame a vertical pic inside yours, the size of about a quarter of your image. The frame would include only a part of the Marché St-Pierre building, cropped on the top of the front buildings, on the bottom a little above the leaves and on the left side just before the Reine buildings.

Good use of sepia. A little too much foreground though.
