Prenant sa source une trentaine de kilomètres plus au nord, non loin d'Allos, le Verdon, ici à Villars-Colmars, est un torrent impétueux qui a déjà reçu les eaux très froides de plusieurs affluents. Dans une cinquantaine de kilomètres, il s'engouffrera dans les gorges qui font sa célébrité.

Hello Jean Marie,

This is a precious landscape. The river and the rocks add a wild atmosphere to this composition. The light is excellent adding nice colours and details to the view. Nice place!

Hi Jean Marie,
Very beautiful landscape, I will have to find this area on the map. We are always looking to get new holidays ideas from TE and this looks like a place with good hiking tracks and hope fully good Logis de France hotels!
