[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
Clisson Castle was built on 13th century by Guillaume de Clisson, on a rocky outcrop overhanging the river Sèvre. Strengthened by lords of Clisson, the castle is confiscated by dukes of Brittany in 1420. It becomes one of the most important fortress to protect frontiers of Brittany, as Fougères or Châteaubriant. After the end of Brittany independance, the castle loses part of its strategic importance but anyway it is strenghtened during League Wars about 1590. Then it is used as a residence during 17th centuty, it is deserted from the early 18th century and finally burned down during Vendée wars in 1793. It is bought back by sculptor Frédéric Lemot and is a property of the family until 1962, when it is bought by Loire-Atlantique department. This castle is opened to visits.

Salut Olivier,
Beau travail!
Bon WE.
Amicalement,
Olivier

Hi Olivier,
Wonderful castle and lovely picture!
Beautiful colours, light, detail and clarity!
Nice point of view!
Excellent done!
Best regards!
Siggi

Bonjour olivier
A+

I love castles and this one looks nice. I would change the composition a bit to put the castle really in the top left third. That would remove that foreground flower that is stealing too much attention. This pov is also very tricky because of the terrain tilt. I know that the photo is not tilted, but the castle like this looks a bit strange. Nice light and good colors.

Bonsoir Olivier
Amicalement
Gildas
