Hi Linda,
the background is blurred enough to brings out well the 2 main characters of the compo. Quality is very good throughout, with good sharpness, excellent colours, beautiful compo and frame. This is a very good job! Well done!

I do not think you need any technical comment on this photo. IMO it is perfect with excellent sharpness, beautiful colours and a great composition. The tree in the upper section gives a very nice natural framing and the blurred wall in the BG only makes the people to stand out very well.

Hi Linda,
I like the way they are both framed by the trees making for a great composition. They seem so content with what they are doing and have found themselves a nice spot to do their art. Well seen and captured, and good use of depth of field to focus our attention on the artists.

You've got an excellent eye to catch this daily life scene ! It's a great shot, perfectly done.
The way you've framed, with the branch in the corner, is very tidy. And the fact that you've blurred the background is really well done to bring out the two painters.
The fine sharpness reveals many details, colors are soft and natural, and the light is well managed.
In conclusion, the white and wide frame is the good final touch !
Very good one.

Hi Linda,
Hope a day of rest helped your legs recover. Nice image, shows them both in full concentration and it seems they came from faraway to paint those scenes. Funnily I did not remember the Seine flows through Toggenburg, but I can easily understand once we've posted a few images they'll have to build an airport in Unterwasser to accomodate all these Japan Air Lines jumbos ;-)

I just discover your gallery and like it a lot !
Here is a idyllic view of Paris. A couple painting each one his bank is a good solution for a painted panorama !!! ;) The soft colors are working very well for this peaceful scene, as the little part of the tree does. The whole in a nice frame...
I'll keep an eye over here ;)

Excellent daily life scene. It's even more impressive that you took this from a boat. The framing is perfect with the willow tree hanging over them and the fairly small DOF does a good job to eliminate any possible background distractions. Well done

This is absolutely lovely, the city so inspiring for many artists, including myself, one day I like to do that when I have plenty of time. Stay there for a month or two and just paint. You just took a picture of my dream. Great moment, great composition using the weeping willow tree to frame the image. Thank you so much for presenting and reminding me that I need to paint more often. This photo is great, good sharpness, perfect clarity, beautiful and natural color, it depict a moment in the daily life in Paris and of these two artists and many painters' dream. Love it.
