Before you reach lac cappitelo you have to take a hike of about 2/2,5 hour trough restonica valley. Its really an impressive scenery. Steep mountains with snowy tops and waterfalls coming down from them. After 1,5 hour you’ll reach the first lake “Lac de melo” . most people stop here and start climbing down the ladders back to de parking spot. But if you want to there is path up to the second lake. You really need good mountain shoos for the last part, and in may the last part is covered in snow but it’s well worth it. For me it was the most beautiful scenery I saw during my vacation on Corsica. This photo really doesn’t do its justice. Really impressive and beautiful to see how the rock face rises strait up from the frozen lake.
