Photographer’s Note

Située au sommet du Mont Brouilly, à 484 m, la Chapelle éponyme est dédiée à la Vierge aux Raisins, gardienne du vignoble Beaujolais.

Elle est l'objet d'un pèlerinage annuel pour les vignerons, le premier dimanche de septembre.

Located on top of Brouilly Mount, 484 m high, Chapel is dedicated to Grapes Virgin, who is Beaujolais vineyard guardian.

It is object of an annual pilgrimage for the vine growers, on September first Sunday.

Bonjour JB,
Je ne sais pas pourquoi mais le nom de Brouilly résonne à mes oreilles de manière sympathique ;-)
Ta Papagolfade du lundi (esprit de contradiction ?) est superbe...
Le lumière rasante sur ces vieilles pierres donne des teintes dorées magnifiques et la composition en contre-plongée au GA est vraiment bien vue.
Un traitement sympathique en prime et le tout nous donne une très belle image.

quelle belle lumière! (7h du matin ou du soir?)
les blocs au 1er plan participent vraiment bien à la réussite du cadrage; là le Beaujolais porte bien son nom de pays des pierres dorées!

Une superbe lumière qui, associée avec la contre plongée, donne beaucoup de force à l'image de cette petite église, qui n'aurait pu être que charmante.
Le traitement effectué sur le ciel, qui l'assombrit et le pare d'un halo métallique, n'est pas sans effet non plus.
Du beau boulot.

Waow, quelle lumière (le soir j'imagine?)! La lumière chaude met bien en valeur la pierre, celà donne un beau contraste avec les autres parties que sont le gazon et le ciel. Très bon cadrage également pour cette photo très bien équilibrée.

Une heure bien choisie pour la lumiére, juste ce qu'il faut pour donner une teinte chaude et doré sur la chapelle et les rochers bien cadrer au devant de l'image, trés jolie

Salut JB,
Bien vu cette compo avec ces roches au premier plan. La lumière du soir amène un éclairage superbe sur la chapelle et on reconnait bien ton travail de PP. Très chouette.

You found great light yet again. I think I should move house. :) I like the inclusion of the rocks in the image. As well as giving excellent depth to the scene they provide more surfaces to reflect the golden light. I think you struggled with the sky on this but it doesn't detract from another wonderful golden scene.

Un avant plan qui donne du peps à l'image et une lumière magique sur cette église.
Une étrange couleur dans le ciel sans doute dûe au PP mais qui donne une ambiance chaleureuse à la scène. Le choix du point de vue est très bon et donne une très belle compo.

Wow, very nice. I like how you have choosen the point of view with the stones or rocks in the foreground. It's like the chapel has been directly erected out of these rocks. Hard labour! Nice one!!!

Hi JB,
You captured some great light here, it really shines on the rocks and against the church wall. On top of that a nice gardient of blue with glow around the church, but is not really disturbing...very nice and strong colours.

bien gérer la lumière dans l'angle gauche, les couleurs aussi sont bien retravaillé et mettent bien en valeur la chapelle ou ce cadrage en légere contre plongée donne plus de grandeur a l'édifice

Olá JB, superb capture of the Chapel with a marvellous golden light coming from the left. I like the low POV, making a strong FG with the stones, although that one in the middle seems a bit too intrusive with the BG.

Hello JB,
I see you are shooting with a new toy and it seems a great one by the critics I've been reading about it and also your photos have been prooving it too.
There are very smooth details we can see on the photos and the light is just as I like it, warm and glowing like gold.
I like the foreground with the bold rocks one over the others like a stair leading us to the chappel.

des couleurs plus chaudes que chaudes, ces pierres orangées et ces ombres longues indiquent un soleil très bas et propice aux éclairages chaleureux.
Un post traitement visible dans le ciel, enlèvement de bruit ?
