Photographers Note
During this week-end I will post some more pictures taken during my short trip to southern France. a couple of weeks ago.
My friends there took me to St Paul ( the locals don't like to be called " De Vence " which is actually another less picturesque village ) While climbing slowly on the curvy slopes leading to the top, I noticed this funny hatted guy with his guitar who passed me: A few moment later I found him again in front of this pretty fountain where he had established his shop.
Here I noticed many things, first the arch behind his head, then the water running out,the big stone vase, and particularly the guitar box which seemed to match the color of the guitar itself, and I kept thinking that I should include ALL the box imperatively.
One of my first pictures with the new 16-85mm which seems quite sharp to me.

Hello Izzet Bey,
The composition is wonderful, with the man's head placed right inside the arch, the fountain, and showing the orange guitar and the inside of the guitar box with matching colors. Actually it was the first thing that strike me. It really pops right out. The sharpness is wonderful.
Absolutely superb.
I wish you an excellent weekend. Best personal regards. Salvator.

Hi Izzet, my friend, I hope you are doing well. I like this situational portrait of the street musician, who stands out well in posture and attitude (as well as color) from the fine classical stonework of the village architecture. I see that you are still constantly upgrading your equipment, I need to check about that new lens.

Bonjour, mon bon ami Izzet,

Very intersting scene, with good lighting, colors, and details all around that enhance rather than distract, even though the water jet looks like it's going on that man's back :D
