[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note

Hi Gilles,

This landscape is beautiful. The alpenglow on the peaks add a nice contrast to the darker colours of the foreground. Nice point of view and excellent details. This place seem beautiful. THanks for sharing.

Bonjour Gilles,

Yves.

Bonjour Gilles

First thing I thought when I saw this photo was: "I really wish the entire mountains could be draped in that red glare..."
But for the other part I think it works well with only the tops being illuminated like this.
I find the overall photoresult to be quite nice, maybe not one of the photos with the most elements to fix the attention to, but overall I find the entire photo very relaxing to watch. The overall dark fetaure of the photo gives that proper sense of a quiet evening in the mountains.
Well done, thank you for sharing.

Bien vu

Hi Gilles,
Both versions look great, maybe the ws even a bit better. You really caught stunning light here when the first sun rays hitting the top. A great shot in colour, composition and exposure. High on detail...very good work.
Have a nice weekend, Henk
