| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
My former girl-friend (she's my wife nowadays...) and me found this elderly couple when we strolled through the streets of Paris in 2004.
All what seemed to be their belongings was carried in a plastic-bag and the trolley that can be seen in the picture.
Suddenly they stopped on a bridge over river Seine and he started fiddling while his wife held the notes for him.
It was a moment I'll never forget for those two bringing a smile in our faces with their music.
This time I made it a complete BW print. In this way it's much calmer than before.
Unfortunately I just had my 3 MPixel Cam and the quality of the shot is not perfect. But I like the atmosphere that much so I decided to post the pic anyway.
Thanks for looking!
Greetings,
Oliver |

Ciao Oliver, perhaps the quality of your shot is not perfect, but you got the point! Looking here you can feel the music and also the poetry of a long life in common between these two people! And it talks a lot about Paris, the city of love, too! I like the light and the composition, just a pity for a little lack of sharpness, but I find it a charming shot.
