Ici, j'innove avec un point de vue que je n'avais pas encore posté, depuis la colline voisine de la Croix-Rousse.

Les deux collines, surnommées "celle qui prie" (Fourvière, à cause de la Basilique que l'on voit ici), et "celle qui travaille" (Croix-Rousse, à cause de la présence de nombreuses maisons d'ouvriers et de canuts), ne sont séparées que par un méandre de la Saône.

Perhaps you saw some of my pictures from Fourviere hill :o)

Here is a new point of view in my gallery, from another Lyon hill, Croix-Rousse.

These two hills, called "the one which pray" (Fourviere, because of the Basilica that we see here), and "the one which work" (Croix-Rousse, because of the presence of many workmen and silk workers houses), are only separate by one Saone river meander.

Bonjour JB,
I love the multitude of colours amongst the buildings which have been anhanced by the excellent lighting. The composition with the tower well positioned in the frame, and the inclusion of the half moon, make for an excellent result. Tres belle image.

J'aime beaucoup ce point de vue depuis la Croix Rousse qui met bien en valeur la belle situation de la colline de Fourvière. Les couleurs sont étonnantes sous cette lumière matinale (est-ce du HDR?). Une photo qui me plait bien!

Hi JB,
You keep on painting with the light my friend and you know i like that. It looks very natural in a very warm setting which makes the image very pleasant to look at. Sharpness and all those details are excellent just as the overal composition with the hill moving up to the right. A very interesting picture and for sure one of your best lately, i like it a lot..!!!

Composition en diagonale avec la lune qui vient dire bonsoir au soleil couchant est du plus bel effet.

C'est effectivement un angle de vue peu courant.

c'est une composition très bien vue et très bien organisée, j'aime le joli graphisme de la colline et les maisons qui montent par elle, et de la Basilique et la tour qui occupent son sommet.
Le très bas soleil illumine ces maisons avec une faible lumière et quelques chauds tons, tandis que le ciel a déjà ses teintes bleues et la lune y brille encore.
Tout est parfaitement capté, avec une grande qualité d'image et des couleurs.
C'est un travail superbe.

Ce qui frappe d'abord, c'est la lumière qui vient magnifiquement colorer les bâtiments. le point de vue est bien choisi et la colline se détache parfaitement sur le dégradé pastel du ciel. Superbe.
