Hi JB,

very interesting picture. My first impression was that the picture may be from tropical area as I've seen the banana plants. Very good composition. The reflection, color and brightness are making the image very rich.

aaah le Périgord si on est dans une maison sympa avec piscine, après une visite de chateau ou de grotte, et juste avant une dégustation des produits du terroir, hop une petite plongée ! (c'est un peu ça hein ?)

it looks a tranquil place, nice to swim and drink some beers...I think I know what is to look at a scene like this in the winter days. The image is effective in its clarity and natural colors...I also like the pov with the banana trees making the reference of a tropical place. Well done!

Hello JB,
Denver has had a colder than normal winter. We will have a day of decent weather folowed by two weeks of cold, usually windy days. We have been in this pattern since Thanksgiving Day (late November). It is getting old. I would kill to be at this pool right now and to thaw out for once. Excellent shot and a reminder that we don't have too many more weeks to go for better weather!

Images like this one remind me that Spring is just around the corner. In four or so weeks cold weather will disipate and nice, sunnier days will provide us with some relief. Nice shot with very good clarity and excellent colours. The view is pretty and sharp. Thanks JB.

You're on holidays?! :-)
There is an island in front of the coast of Bretagne, called Ile des Moines. They have a strange hot water stream in the sea there, since on the island you will also find palm trees and exotic flower, whereas the rest of Bretagne would not have such flora.

Difficile de se croire dans le Périgord, effectivement...
Belle ambiance bleue, belle ambiance estivale... En ce moment, c'est assez appréciable.
Assez minimaliste quand on y réfléchit, mais c'est sympa.

JB, je me serais fait piégé comme beaucoup sans doute sur la provenance de cette photo. J'aime cette atmosphère tropicale avec les bananiers dont on peut voir les reflets et les ombres dans l'eau bleu lagon.

Une Dordogne tropicale, belle palette de teintes sur cette vue, bon rendu du ciel très lumineux avec ces nuages , difficile excercice.
