Photographer’s Note
Details of a table inlaid metal (1710) created by Andre Charles Boulle, composed of brass, tortoise shell and gold leaves. It is visible in the gallery of battles in the castle of Chantilly.
Nb: Andre-Charles Boulle give his name to a technical veneer furniture by marquetry to be in vogue in Europe in the late seventeenth to the eighteenth century.
