Photographer’s Note

****

Hello, thought I`d publish another photo of France, but not of Strasbourg. Well, this is Metz, more specifically the entrance to the imposing railway station.
I did not have my tripod with me so I had to increase the ISO level (400), and hold the camera very steady. I also set the aperture to the lowest possible f number with the lense (f3,5), still I don`t how I managed to not get it blurred with 1/3 second of shutter speed, I was probably frantically trying to kneel and steady myself with a street lamp or something like that.

Anyway, a nice town, quite lively too.

Model: NIKON D50
Software: Adobe Photoshop CS3 Windows
Exposure Time: 10/30 sec
ISO: 400
F-Stop: f/3.5
Focal Length: 18 mm

Metering Mode: Pattern
File Size: 135 kb

Increased the hue and saturation a little. Messed with the colors (selective color), did some exposure editing, but didn`t change the shadows/highlight function, because it just got very screwed if I used both exposure and the shadow/high. function, quite probably because of the ISO level.

Thoughts and comments appreciated as always!

Enjoy
