[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the shop window in the Champs-Elysées in Paris of a well known German fashion House. The Christmas decorations are a bit unusual with the girl and the elk .

The elk (Alces alces) is the largest species in the deer family. In North America it is called moose. The average size of an elk is 1.5–1.8 m. Males weigh up to 500 kg.

Hej Ulf,
During snowy winters it happens the moose (Alces alces) seeks food where people live. Some years ago a moose even appeared in the centre of Trondheim, and every year there are several reports of moose in gardens and residential areas.

But be aware, these are situations where the big animal can get dangerous as it is easily scared in the unfamiliar surroundings and attacks as an act of self-defence. There are reports of people getting seriously injured by attacking moose.

You may have noticed I use the term "moose", but "elk" is considered the correct in Europe, hehehe...

Indeed a somehow eclectic combination here. The chandelier adds to the effect here. I really dig the way you captured and composed this - there's definitely soms narrative tension here!

I can imagine the a Swede walking in Paris is happily surprised to see this national animal of Sweden lost in the Champs-Elysées in company with a lovely girl :-)

A very nice shop window. Well capture, the quality is very good. I especially like the elk, interesting to see it. Very nice Christmas decorations, well seen and captured!
