Photographer’s Note
Having left Annecy, we drove down the main freeway towards Marseille. Although this drive can be done in one day, we decided to take it slower, over two days, so were in need of a place to stay. Then we spotted this beautiful hillside village in the distance and stayed the night. I think there was only one hotel here, but what a charming little village it is, nestled amongst vineards with lots of windy, narrow and steep cobble stone streets.
Photoshop processing: colors were a bit faded by the bright sunlight that day, so I enhanced in LAB mode by steepening the A and B curves. Unsharp mask on the lightness channel only.
