Notre-Dame, full night (III) Photo

Photographer’s Note

This one is the last of the pictures of Notre-Dame e Paris in this small serie. The point of view is exactly the same as yesterday but the camera was pointed slightly below to give a better with on the Seine river. The rainbow effect on the lens is also present like yesterday (some people have noticed it).
So those who came to see the previous one will not see much differences apart from what I mentionned above. But I had warned from the start that there will be some redundancies here.
This is not the original view (which is in worshop): there was a group of white lights in the sky of the cathedral whch I was not able to identy (if it was a UFO, I would have left it...). I have erased it in the main posting, but left it in the original. The last ones in the serie have be taken on my way to the tube station "Cité", in the vicinity of the Palais de justice.

Your image is incredibly clear, the light on the church is perfectly managed. The way the river is placed in the photo is very clever to provide perspective and depth.

les superbes clichés nocturnes se succèdent et ne se ressemblent, celui ci à les mêmes qualités que les précédents mais j'en préfère les POV et cadrage.

Notre chère Cathédrale a un superbe look dorée. J'aime bien le plan d'eau duquel émane la lumière des environs. Et que dire de l'angle avec laquelle la Cathédrale est présenté. Celle-ci est ma préférée de ta série sur cette Cathédrale. Excellente atmosphère!

Une classique mais superbe vue sur Notre Dame!
Le cadrage est parfait, la lumière nocturne sert très bien la composition. De belles lignes directrices qui donnent de la profondeur.

I've just been to Paris last weekend, and this picture of the Notre Dame is really well captured. I quite like the contrast between the warmly illuminated church and the dark waters of the Seine. Thanks. Martijn
