Photographer’s Note

I would not have liked to miss this one hour concert given by the music
by the Chinese crews (Of the destroyer Guangzhou missile launcher and the
supply tanker Weishan in stopover in Toulon for 4 days.) It was on the
square of the theatre of Toulon. In impeccable white uniforms,
the musicians began the concert towards 16h00 with vibrating Marseillaise followed
then with the Chinese national anthem.
The music was very varied, modern, traditional,
rock'n'roll. But also musical and Chinese traditional music.
A singer even interpreted "the time of the French cathedrals" in french!
A treat for the ears and the eyes.
