Photo prise durant le festival "coup de chauffe" de Cognac, festival dédié aux arts de la rue.
Dans le jardin botanique, une étrange troup d'artistes : "les gens de couleur". 6 personnes, trois hommes et trois femmes, quasi nus et recouverts de peinture de différentes couleurs (jaune, rose, bleu, vert...) déambulaient en prenant des poses parmi les passants mi-amusés, mi-médusés. Très original. Je m'en suis voulu à mort d'avoir laissé mon nikon chez moi.

Festival "coup de chauffe" at Cognac (festival of the arts of the street). In the park, there was this strange artists calles "les gens de couleur". 3 men and 3 women, almost maked ant body entirely covered of paintings in different colors (blue, yellow, red,...). The walked here and here in the park, amon amused or puzzled people. Very original. But I hold a grudge against me for leting my nikon at home.

...can't believe no one commented on this yet Olrik. It's a great looking photo. The yellow woman looks grerat against the blue sky. Your composition and POv are also very good. I love her expression, almost like she is a little mad at you for taking a picture...

...my first reaction is: well, when you are walking around with no shirt (being a female especially) and painted a bright yellow...what do you expect?...unless she is just trying to blend in to the crowd?

Hi Olivier,

Really great POV and yes, the yellow and blue makes quite a colour contrast!
Also, the bright sunshine on the upper half gives her a 'metallic' look.

That looks like one interesting festival!

je viens de visionner toute la série des gens de couleur et je me suis beaucoup amusé de l'ambiance que cela avait du créer dans ce parc public ( je peux aussi comprendre le regret de ne pas avoir emporté le "bon" appareil...)
