A nightshot of the cathedral of Metz, France.

The St. Etienne cathedral in Metz, France, was made in the 14th century by joining together two perpendicular churches: the nave of Saint-Etienne, built in the 13th century, was attached to the north side of an older Roman church.

In the 15th century, a transept and a choir were added. This nave is the third highest in France with it's 41.41 meters. Only Beauvais and Amiens are higher.

Hi Mike,

That is a wonderful nightshot with an even more wonderful reflection. 22 seconds. You used a grad filter to be able to get to the 22 seconds?
The colours and the reflection are just wonderful. Very nice.

Great night shot! The lighting and colors are great with nice sharpness and DOF. The long exposure gives the photo a nice deep field of view. The reflection adds nice balance to the photo and adds great color.

Bonsoir Mike,
Un superbe image nocturne que tu nous présentes ici. Le reflet dans l'eau est vraiment magnifique et les couleuts et les teintes donnent une très belle ambiance.
J'aurais juste aimé plus de netteté sur la cathédale. Problème de prise de vue ou manque d'accentation sur la version TE ?
