Porspoder, small city on the coasts of the Channel in Brittany, is known for its rocks and its headlight (the headlight of Four), but also for its horses which live at the seaside.
In fact draught horses (postier breton) were used formerly for the collecting of the seaweed.

Bonsoir,
J'aime beaucoup cette photo pleine de tendresse. Le w&b donne beaucoup de douceur à l'ensemble. La mise au point sur ces poulains confère une grande netteté à leur pelage qu'on croirait de velours.

This is a wonderful image. It is so well composed and the B&W is just the right medium for it.

Encore une de tes très belles photos. Je ne sais quelle ouverture tu as utilisée, mais le choix a été judicieux, car les poulains sont tous les deux bien nets alors que l'arrière-plan est flou à souhait. Une belle conversion, avec cette toute petite teinte de sépia. J'aime comment les pattes, éclairées par la lumière, viennent jouer en contraste avec l'arrière-plan plus foncé. Un format carré bien approprié.
Évidemment, la cerise sur le gâteau : le moment où tu as pressé le petit bouton pour emmagasiné cette image.... Un morceau de choix!
C'est bucolique! Et ça me repose de ma vie de ville! :))

This is such a beautiful photo, it makes me happy to look at animals like such. Your choice of oblique composition is effective because it not only fits the long horses into a tight frame but also shows the face of one of the horses so we can observe some emotion. Also, your choice of B&W makes us focus on the composition rather than color and makes this a more powerful image.

Ou ma mémoire me fait défaut, ou tu es cachotier, mais je ne me souviens pas avoir vu cette photo à ton expo. Elle est vraiment superbe à tout point de vue technique, quant à la "scène" capturée c'est un beau moment de tendresse.bravo.
