The French exact copy of the torch held by the Statue of Liberty from New York.
It was given to the city as a return gift in honor of the Centennial Celebration of the statue's dedication. The irony is that the torch is on top of the car tunnel where the fatal accident where Princess Diana, her boyfriend Dodi Al-Fayed, and their driver Henri Paul were killed. Since pedestrians are not allowed in the tunnel. The torch became an unofficial memorial to the Princess. (from wikipedia)
