Photographer’s Note

This is a picture of Huelgoat ("The Tall Wood")situated in the Amourigue National Park in Brittany (Bretagne), a site of many remarkable natural features. Well marked forest walks lead to gigantic boulders and caves, with rivers and streams flowing between. You can find here the "Grotte Du Diable" ("Devil's Cave") and "La Roche Tremblant" ("Trembling Rock") weighing 100 tonnes, as well as standing stones in a beautiful nature, as you can see here...

Very nice place in your great shot,Hans!
with an useful note,Great composition you creat.
Depth of field is very nice,colors are real & beautiful,calm,placid & lovely.

The photo is very nice, with good colors and detail, but I think it somehow fails to be as interesting as it could be. Maybe a different point of view (like closer to the ground) could have made it stand out more.

I like a lot your compo ; it is not easy, according to me, to catch a good one in the forest. On this one attention is oriented and it gives a very good idea of beautiful french country ! Bravo.

Hans, een mooie groene foto met veel diepte, en goede details absoluut, de mossen op de stenen zijn duidelijk zichtbaar, hier heeft mooi werk verricht Hans.

I agree Hans - this seams to be some kind of wonderworld - could be used in films like "lord of the rings" - You captured the atmosphere very excellent, with the mix of light and shadows - amazing to see so many colours of green :-)

I like those green mature forests with old trees covered with everdamp moss and creepers. It's always cool and quiet there. Very nice shot of one of these places. Colours, shapes and light are naturally soft. Pleasant view.

As always- great picture, great composition. I like the colours very much- the different shades of green.
Every picture reminds me of something- this one reminds me of some land from a fairy tale or something like that. A little bit like the "Lord of the Rings" landscape. It has this magic in it. Thanks for sharing,
