Photographer’s Note
Brazilian sandals, tongues, havaianas, they were present in most of my photos taken in São Paulo,
and i wrote extensively about them...
2 weeks ago, while on holidays in Paris and I met this guy near the Sorbonne, he was selling Brazilian sandals on the street. He started walking in the same direction as me (towards the Jardin du Luxembourg) so I stopped and waited for him to pass, then walked behind him, taking many photos of him and his funny advertisement (see brazilian flag on it)
I am posting another as workshop to show surroundings, just to prove this was in Paris. But i like this tight frame better. Something about the warm light and his (sexy) arms.
So I felt the sandals were following me from Sao Paulo to Paris, and then I ended up following them on the street...
