St Remy du Provence
Taken in the grounds of the Monastry Saint Paul de Mausole which is the phychiatric centre where Vincent Van Gogh was once treated and the area where he painted alot of his classics. The mountain in the background is the start of the Alpilles mountain range where the roads winds up through them and on to the famous town built on the mountains of Le Beau.
St Remy du Provence is a must to visit if your in the area so peaceful and where Vincent Van Gogh good so much inspiration from.

What a wonderful shot. Very well seen and captured.
Part of the trouble, I find, with these sites is that there is so much good stuff out there that I miss a lot of it. I've just come across your pictures by chance and, looking at them, I think you have an "eye" a bit like mine - I put on a couple of similar shots from Mallorca and called them "Chopin's View"! I'm going to have a look at a few more of your photos now.
I like your note too - very interesting and informative. I must say that I am less inclined to comment on a picture that doesn't have a note attached - notes do make the whole experience of looking at pictures more rewarding and I've learned a lot about the World through this and its associated sites.
Excellent! Well done!
