Photographer’s Note
Pont of view of the cathedral Saint-Gatien from the
court of the Beaux-Arts museum in Tours.
Raised on the vestiges of the Gallo-Roman city Caesarodunum, the Saint-Gatien cathedral was built between 1240 and 1547. It knew a long history and succeeds three other churches: a first church built by Saint Lidoire who saw the sacring of Saint Martin, a church franque who lasted 400 years, dedicated to Saint Maurice, and a Romance church which was useful during one century and were destroyed by the war and the fires. It offers, in its construction, the succession of the radiant Gothic, the blazing Gothic and the Renaissance.

Salut Thierry
Content de te voir de retour!
J'aime bien la façon dont les angles du clocher accroche la lumière, c'est bien vu ainsi que cette composition originale. Une bonne netteté permettant d'apprécier les détails!
Beau travail
Amicalement
Hervé
