Sun, snow and ... ski Photo

Photographer’s Note

A ski tour some weeks ago, in the Lauziere range at the begining of the Maurienne valley. This skier is close to the summit of the Grand Arc (outside of the photo on the left) and will reach it by walking as it is easier due to the ridge.
It was a pleasant tour due to the little snow fallen some days before and due to the fact, this summit is a very good belvedere.
I will submit later some other pictures of this tour.

Beautiful composition of cyan and white. Just the rule of thirds is missing. Nice effect of the sun.

Yves, yet another spectacular photograph from you, perfectly exposed in difficult lighting conditions, great as usual. Do you ever worry about breaking your neck, the views you present us must include considerable risk on your part. Thanks for showing me something I'll never see for myself.
