I have been seen this women for 2 years in this area. This winter, it freezed, but she was naked feet. I often see her whith a caddie.

And she didn't mind you taking the pic straight forward like that ? she does look that she couldn't care less.. What a find more dramatic in homeless in countries like France or Canada is THAT THERE IS NO REASON FOR THIS SITUATION... these are rich countries with a lot of government programs. Often there is a problem of alcoolism or drugs or even mental illness involved that brings men and women in the street. Here we often call homeless women "bag ladies" because like this one they carry all their belonging in bags whereas men don't even bother to keep personal belongings, they run around with nothing else but the cloth they are wearing... (end of social critique)

now for the photo critique -- well it's mostly the social aspect of this shot that makes it outstanding... good to have included the caddy with the lady and tight cropping. Could be a little sharper and a shallower DOF would have allowed to focus more on the lady.

Que c'est triste a voir! je ne sais quoi dire. Aucun mot ne saurait convoyer un sentiment. La societe du gaspillage ferme les yeux sur la souffrance, voir ceci donne envi de pleurer.
