The inside of the frame Le Grande Arche at La Defense. The elevators in the arch are discussed a lot. From a distance the structure for the elevators is often mistaken for a scaffold. The elevators are external but inside the giant frame and runs on this steel structure. You can see one of the elevators on the right. As I hope you understand the picture is taken looking straight up into the ceiling.
Many members in this structure are shiny steel pipes and here they have strong light coming from both sides. The effect really looks like oversharpening, doesn´t it?

The parallels in the background are perfect : great !
A very beautiful light too, with nice contrasts.
Good choice of B&W.
I really like your graphic image, Ebbe !

Stunning perspective. I simply love the the strong interplay between all those straight and diagonal lines. What a pattern. The squares form an excellent backdrop. A graphic piece pur sangue.
And I think that you displayed the effect of bidirectional lighting....and also of a bit of oversharping here ;-)
Great job, Ebbe, congrats!!

I didn't think overshapened before I read your note, but, maybe you are right, they are definetly shiny!
A very good architecture shot, and I like the way you have the squares in the cieling so well levelled.

Very interesting shot, extremely sharp, which is important for this.

Very nice point of view. The structure makes for a great subject. I really like how the simple square patterned top makes the backdrop for what is a more complex, but still basically square patterned form. It also looks like some kind of science fiction shot of maybe a ship in space because if you look at this and not know it's up it looks like something looking into the distance suspended over nothing. Very cool. Great job.
