Thru the huge clockface you can gaze out to the Seine in the direction of L'Opera.
Its an awesome sight at a time when you've looked at so many astounding works of art you think you cannot be impressed anymore - then whammo you come across this! Fantastic.

Great shot, this clock is impressive. I've seen Orsay from outside only, the building itself is very interesting. Your photo makes you wonder what the person is doing or thinking at that moment. I like the small details like the Sacré-Coeur on Montmartre and the big fun fair wheel.

Je suis tombé par hasard sur cette photo et je suis tombé sous le charme. J'adore la composition et ce personnage et l'horloge en ombre chinoise avec la vue de Paris en arrière plan. La profondeur de champ est idéale. Je suis étonné par le manque de commentaire sur cette image. Elle mérite beaucoup plus.
