Photographer’s Note
Here’s another picture from Dinan (Nord East Brittany, France). There are a lot of things to see in this very well restored medieval town: history buildings, ramparts, towers and a Castle.
But in this photo I wanted to show you other specific of Brittany that we can easily notice not only in Dinan. When I started looking more carefully at old buildings details such as window frames, doors I noted that almost 1/3 of houses have them painted on blue!
Does anybody know why? Is it some kind of tradition or fashion? This "problem" bothers me for quite a long time :P
