Photographer’s Note
Here the small port of Saint-Mandrier-sur-Mer (Southern of France) We can see the boats of fishermen and their nets on the quay. Old coloured houses. The high-speed motorboat of the SNSM (Socièté national of rescue at sea) No major final improvement.

Bonjour Jean Louis.

Salut Jean Louis,
A very interesting POV for this image. For me it works, the rain on the windshield tells us the mood of the day. I also like the soft tones of the colored buildings in the back ground, I think this also tells us the mood at the time your snaped this photograph.

Interesting treatment for this scene, giving it something of the look of an impressionist painting.

Hello Jean-Louis,
This is a very effective shot looking through the rain spattered windshield which produces a painterly effect. The composition is also very good with the boats in the foreground and the different coloured buildings. Very imaginative.

Hi Jean,
Very interesting photo. An intelligent one. Without this wet foreground it would have been another banal port picture, but you took it from behind the window and that was a right decision indeed.
Vision filtered through the window gives the image completely new and unusual quality. Smart. Congratulation. Marcin.
